Ladera Heights is a great little residential neighborhood on the Albuquerque’s west-side, embracing the Ladera Golf Course. It’s a wonderful neighborhood because the homes are more affordable while being close to shopping, restaurants, parks and hiking trails. The real estate climate provides an economical mix of detached single-family homes, condos and townhomes. Roughly speaking, Ladera Heights is demarcated by Western Trail to the North, Atrisco to the East and the Petroglyphs to the West. It sits to the South of the Taylor Ranch neighborhood and to the North of Laurelwoods.
Ladera Heights is predominantly a residential neighborhood, however nearby restaurants pepper the Coors Blvd corridor…and let’s not forget about Cottonwood Mall! Of course there are places of worship as well, but I think what really sets Ladera Heights apart is all of its wonderful outdoor activities. Whether you take your four-legged friend to the dog park, go hiking or biking along the petroglyph trails or swing a golf club on the green, Ladera Heights will satisfy those who just need to be out in the open air. And of course the Taylor Ranch Library can easily appease the dedicated book worm.
While you’re at it, check out the great home located at 3816 67th ST NW that The Sugar Team has listed in Ladera Heights, backing up to the golf course and the 7th hole with majestic views of the golf course and the Sandia Mountains:
